These pretty lilac tealight holders made of handcrafted paper are really charming. We designed them and had them made after an encounter with the women of a small village near Pondicherry. The texture of the paper is unusual as it comes from coconut leaves, which grow amazingly well in this region; the lighting is perfectly scattered because of the weaving.

Finally some tea light holders that are easy to use and safe!

The LED tea lights located inside each paper lantern do not heat, nor melt, nor smoke and do not produce toxic gases. These LED candles are operated by 2 standard AAA batteries (or rechargeable), that can be found in every shops and give a life of 180 hours for each pair of batteries. The LED bulb is very strong and will last for more than 50 000 hours.
