This LED lantern does not present any risks as it does not heat nor burn. It does not produce any toxic gases as it is simply electric! The LED tea light used inside the paper lantern, is operated by 2 standard batteries (or rechargeable), which will allow it to glow for more than 180 hours without it being turned off by the smallest draught !

A handcrafted fabrication for our modern lanterns

Those charming lanterns were born during a trip to Southern India, with a lovely encounter in a village near Pondicherry... They are handcrafted by the women of this community with the coconut leaves picked locally. The tea light placed inside the lantern, offers a flickering yellow-orange flame, such a real candle. Its utilisation is extremely simple: you only need to press the LED candle's switch to see it glow. And thanks to the remote control, on option for only 4€ (battery included),you will be able to control from a distance and even program the lighting of your lanterns !
